Memorial Healthcare System’s Neuroscience Institute is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its comprehensive team of providers. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neuroscience specialists to deliver high-quality care for patients requiring neurointerventional and stroke-related care in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities will include responding to stroke alerts, conducting daily rounds, and writing consultation notes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an ER, critical care, neurological, or stroke setting. Providers with an interest in education and research are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a national Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification or must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master’s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire. An ENLS certification is required within one year of employment.

Schedule requirements are Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with rotating weekends and holiday coverage. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
