Memorial Cancer Institute at the Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing team. Memorial’s Breast Cancer Program is recognized as a Florida Cancer Center of Excellence. The selected candidate will collaborate with an established, multi-disciplinary team of cancer care specialists to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of breast oncological conditions in the outpatient clinic. Under the general supervision of a physician, the incumbent will provide evidence-based diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care. Advanced Practice Providers with oncology experience and an Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner Certification are preferred. Candidates must have a national Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification, or Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM to 5PM, with no weekend or call expectations. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
