PHYSIATRY (STAFF RELIEF)

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a staff relief BE/BC physiatrist to join a team of general and sub-specialized adult and pediatric physiatrists. The desired candidate will have a clinical focus in general physical medicine and rehabilitation, should have experience and an interest in programmatic development and quality initiatives. The candidate will have the support of the Memorial Level I Trauma Center, the Memorial Cancer Institute, the Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute and the Memorial Neuroscience Institute which includes a Neuroscience ICU and Comprehensive Stroke Center.

This is a staff-relief position weekday/weekend coverage necessary, with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group comprised of 300+ physicians. The position offers a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.

The Memorial Rehabilitation Institute includes a beautiful, 89-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit which averages more than 2,300 admissions per year. The inpatient program is situated within an acute hospital, allowing our patients access to critical care services and emergency treatment should the need arise. The multidisciplinary team approach is progressive, using some of the latest in advanced technologies within a modern yet homelike environment. Our rehabilitation unit, recognized as a premier provider of rehabilitative care, addresses the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and psychological needs of our patients to help maximize their efforts to regain independence. The Memorial Rehabilitation Institute also offers three outpatient centers throughout the county to accommodate the community. As part of Memorial Healthcare System, the Memorial Rehabilitation Institute is dedicated to providing high-quality services to residents of South Florida and beyond.
