A Community That Takes Care of Its Own

As part of the Memorial family, your well-being is important to us. Having a strong support system is essential to preventing provider burnout. Memorial provides several programs and benefits to ensure you feel supported and connected in your professional and personal life. We care about keeping you healthy – physically, mentally, socially and financially.

Benefits for Employed Providers

Attracting and retaining great providers – like you – is one of Memorial's top goals.
We believe that offering a valuable benefits package, in addition to competitive salaries, helps us achieve that goal.

Physician Wellness Program

The Memorial Physician Wellness program helps develop positive health behaviors that promote personal growth and resiliency as you strive for a balanced, fulfilling life as part of this most noble profession. Our mission is to enhance the overall well-being of our providers by offering evidence-informed resources that promote optimal health and work-life balance. We have identified three key areas to improve that include work-life balance, the workplace environment and physical as well as mental health.

To this end, a team of committed physicians have partnered with our leadership to build a program that is tailored to suit the needs of our physicians at Memorial. This program has the potential to help you enhance awareness of your own typical reactions to the stress response, and discover practical tools for wellness and self care.

Giving Back

When you join Memorial Healthcare System, you will have many opportunities to volunteer your time, and possibly find a greater sense of purpose. In line with our philosophy that public health and quality of life are inseparable, Memorial has partnered with community organizations and leaders to create programs to help at-risk youths, the homeless, seniors, the chronically ill and many others with special needs.
