Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Adult Kidney Transplant Program at Memorial Regional Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized healthcare system committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered transplant care through a collaborative multidisciplinary team. The Nurse Practitioner will function as an advanced practice provider in an outpatient setting, delivering evidence-based, comprehensive care under the general supervision of a transplant physician. The selected candidate will play an integral role in the ongoing management of kidney transplant recipients by providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care while ensuring continuity throughout the patient's transplant journey.

Position Highlights

• Full-time outpatient position

• Monday – Friday schedule

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• No weekend requirements

• No call or work-from-home responsibilities

• Collaborative multidisciplinary transplant team

• Opportunity to work alongside experienced transplant physicians and advanced practice providers

• Located at Memorial Regional Hospital, a leading transplant center in South Florida

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult kidney transplant patients

• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic transplant-related conditions

• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing

• Provide preventive care, patient education, and long-term follow-up

• Collaborate with transplant physicians, coordinators, pharmacists, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver evidence-based care in accordance with transplant program protocols

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Current Florida APRN license

• Current BLS certification

• One (1) year of kidney or solid organ transplant experience preferred

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaborative practice skills
