Memorial Healthcare System is seeking Chief Residents for its Internal Medicine Residency Program for academic year 2025 – 2026. Under the guidance of the Program Director, the Chief Resident will support the educational and programmatic objectives of the IM program and will be responsible for teaching and providing clinical supervision to residents. They will participate in research and scholarly activities while serving as a mentor in developing resident projects. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and possess strong communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of institutional administrative policies, learn the complexities of conflict resolution strategies, and enhance both leadership and academic skills.
Memorial Healthcare System received institutional ACGME accreditation in August 2015 and welcomed its inaugural class of Internal Medicine residents in 2018. The IM Residency Program is now comprised of 48 residents. Memorial’s Graduate Medical Education Program is affiliated with several local medical schools including Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Florida International University (FIU), and Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU).
